This occupancy sensor can dim any compatible light fixture to a user-controlled dimming level when its surroundings are unoccupied. Traditionally, fixture-mount occupancy sensors are not dimmable and have only 2 modes, on and off. view

The system is a scalable and simple HVAC and lighting control system that enables commercial property owners to save on electrical costs and improve occupant experience with just a few clicks on a smartphone. The new wireless EMS is based on a highly secure proprietary wireless network stack and includes a touchscreen thermostat, sensors, control modules for attaching to light fixtures, and wall switches.

GridNavigator recently joined the Advanced RTU Campaign to promote retrofitting and replacing old commercial rooftop unit air conditioning systems in order to improve energy efficiency, save money, and make buildings more comfortable. GridNavigator and ATS Automation today announced the use of a unique energy forecasting service to deliver additional energy efficiency and demand reduction across the more than twenty facilities on the 50-acre campus of Edmonds Community College in Lynnwood, Washington. The National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) has introduced a fully automated online energy usage survey for dealerships to be used in determining their eligibility for ENERGY STAR certification by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The newly automated survey, created in partnership with leading energy management systems provider GridNavigator, can be completed by NADA member dealerships in just one step by entering energy usage data. Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has agreed to implement GridNavigator's Looche Lighting System to replace the existing inefficient and legacy lights. GridNavigator is installing the new smart LED lamps that use Echelon PLC microchip to communicate with the CarbonIndex cloud for monitoring and controling. Each fixture is dimmable remotely and variety of schedules are set using the astronomical clock.

BACnetXchange server will integrate with the centralized heating and cooling systems to identify what events are contributing the most to the demand charge. Using the ABS bridge to EPA, GridNavigator will obtain each school’s energy star rating.

Motorola has launched the LED Solution Center showroom. The LED display features the use of the LightingNavigator control system manufactured by GridNavigator. LightingNavigator is an integrated hardware/software solution installed with LED & LEP lights which enable Motorola customers to control street light, parking lot, or other LED lighting applications. The Lab enables customers to demo and benchmark different LED technologies for these various applications.

GridNavigator is implementing a spectrum of both electrical and gas sub-metering to give Renton School District a more complete picture of their energy usage in real-time. The school district will be able to perform building studies with far more granular detail, develop continuous efficiency improvement programs, and meet carbon footprint reporting requirements.

Rochester School district partnered with GridNavigator and Denali Advanced Integration to implement CarbonIndex.com EIS as part of their "thin client" desktop virtualization energy efficiency project. CarbonIndex.com will not serve as a platform for continuous efficiency improvement and carbon footprint reporting, but will validate the efficiency performance of thin client PC's that use less than 10% of the energy of standard PC's.

Edmonds community college standardizes in GridNavigator EIS to help facilitate the President Climate Commitment ( www.presidentsclimatecommitment.org). The new data center at EDCC leverages GridNavigator EIS to validate energy efficiency. Denali Advanced Integration deployed GridNavigator EIS to validate the efficiency performance of a server virtualization project. The EIS was deployed prior to deployment of a project that reduced data center energy usage by over 75%. GridNavigator validated the efficiency performance to meet utility audit requirements as well as ESPC requirements.
